• The unit is conducting a Presentation of the Colours Parade on the weekend of 6 - 8 March 2009. A practice weekend is scheduled for 27 Feb - 1 Mar 09. ALL SOLDIERS ARE EXPECTED TO ATTEND! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to witness new Colours being presented to the unit. For those who don't know, Colours are defined as consecrated ceremonial flags which are carried by, and mark the identity of, Canadian Forces (CF) formations and units, and include: Queen’s Colours; Standards; Guidons; and Command, College and Regimental Colours. First Battalion, The Nova Scotia Highlander's (North) has two flags: Queen’s Colours and and Regimental Colours.
  

• If you have anything that is outstanding from the DAG for Southbound Trooper, get the info in before the cutoff 29 Jan 09 to Cpl Hale.

• The Calendar has been updated up to the end of March 2009 training schedule.
