retinascan helped me to release my tribute to the stuttgart fluxus artist albrecht/d.: the 3"-cdr "siemers an albrecht/d." included two tracks a/d. once recorded for the KLÄNG compilation series plus a lot of permutation, de-folding, re-coll-aging and zerklärung i did to some of his words and music. comes with explainatory cover art.

in 2001 albrecht/d. performed 26 spontaneous compositions on minidisc. he asked fognin to mix all these tracks into one piece for future inclusion on the now dead but might be reborne KLÄNG compilation series. fognin created 13 very very different tracks: one of these is included here as well as two of the original albrecht/d. compositions. the remaining 36 tracks are still waiting for legal release. in 2002 siemers took some of these 39 tracks as the main raw material for some short pieces of electroacoustic plunderdrones improvised directly to his hard drive. on one track some sounds of the residents are added, one track uses nothing but the audience athmosphere from the "matinée bleue" concert on the 11th of august 2001 and one track is made of a pinkees rehearsal tape from 1983. all other sounds you may hear are mainly based on the original albrecht/d. recordings with some fognin folded in and were collected, treated or created by siemers.
