is david, TÔLE-ACHE, of course.
DEUF already existed before TÔLE-ACHE was grounded.
DEUF is the nickname of David Dufour since 1985.

1988 David Dufour was first playing as independent musician with a French skinhead band Contingent 84 (Angers, France)
where David was playing metal percussions.
In 1991, after some funny adventures with this right engaged band, David was playing loudly his metal percussions with one hardcore band (Sorry, don't remember the name, Angers, France).

In 90Žs, DEUF was usually assisting to diverse sound-checks from many bands, like Shaking Dolls, The Thugs,
Contingent 84, Sincere Deceit, and many other from punk to experimental music through heavy metal.
After this DEUF decides to ground TÔLE-ACHE in 1991.
He was the only front man participating to the "not more existing" industrial life in the city (Angers).
Angers was a centre for many forgotten bands or organisations like PROEKOS PRODUCT,
POL ERIK PETIT, INCINERATEUR NUMERO 9,
DIE WOHNHAFT, N STUVISKA ENTERPRISE,
OLEA FRAGRANS and some fanzine like UNDERGROUND LIFE,
LES HEROS DU PEUPLE,...

Till end of the year Ž97 David is playing in many different music projects.
In 2001 DEUF changes his industrial style to a more electro acoustic music.
You can find the most important releases on break-the-line! records Records label.

Since the end of 2003 DEUF is a proudly member from sturclub one of the most important band for improvisation music, spontaneous creation, contradictory music, disastrous composition, atonal tonality, tonal atonality!!!

Begin 2005 David Dufour makes a 4 minutes experimental video for "dancing the screen" a video exhibition organised in Stuttgart at Fluctuating Images Gallery.
The idea was to determinate the relation between video, electronic music and the dance. David makes his very first video and takes an extract of "Le réveil du matin à lŽaurore de la nuit " for the soundtrack.

David participates to the summer courses from Karl Heinz Stockhausen in Kürten, Germany.
Assist in this way to many worlds premieres and studies the work "Licht Bilder".

October 2005, Karl Heinz Stockhausen writes a letter to David Dufour to give some comments on the work "Le réveil du matin à lŽaurore de la nuit".
Note that the work is recorded in 4 channels Surround System.
