blwb_quest ======The Board-Level-Wishbone-Bus The board level wishbone bus is the most important thing of the kad. The BLWB determins the overall performance of all cores used if they are synchronous to the Wishbone-Bus. =====BLWB-Requirements We have the following 6 years ago (10/2/05 10:48 PM) Anonymous 6 years ago (10/2/05 10:48 PM) Anonymous
fpga_conf ======FPGA-Configuration =====Configuration of User-FPGAs The user-fpgas are configured using the configuration-engine of the bridge-fpga. In case of xilinx-spartan3-fpgas the kad will use the xilinx-way to program the fpgas using the lines prog, done, d 5 years ago (4/29/07 10:08 AM) Anonymous 5 years ago (4/29/07 10:08 AM) Anonymous

kad_hdl ======HDL-Cores for the KAD The kernel accelerator device needs many ip-cores. many free cores can be taken from www.opencores.org. But we also need to write our own cores for special kad-Tasks. For user-tasks the cores from opencores may need to be chang 6 years ago (7/6/05 6:44 PM) Anonymous 6 years ago (7/6/05 6:44 PM) Anonymous

kad_project ==Similarities to GNU radio? The GNU radio (http://www.gnu.org/software/gnuradio/) uses also an FPGA like the KAD does. It seems to me GNU radio is more 'final' than KAD.
