The bookcrossing zone is at the The Kiosk near the lake in South Norwood Lake and Park.
In my opinion this is one of the prettiest parks in London, with the added bonus of having
this lovely kiosk. I can thoroughly recommend the cappucino, hot chocolate and the
cheese and ham toastie!
The Kiosk is open all year round, from 10am 'til 1/2 an hour before the park closes.
Newly opened, the current stock of books at the Kiosk is still small.

The waiting room is open during railway station staffing hours (Monday-Saturday 06:40-20:30, Sunday 09:40-17:00) but can be unexpectedly closed due to staff unavailability. Unfortunately there appears to be no direct phone number for the station to check opening.
Books provided by the Friends are on a borrow and return principle; if you want your BC books to take a one-way trip they should be clearly identifiable as BC books. Anything welcome, and books left tend to disappear quite quickly.

1. Platform 1 (Westbound, to Worcester and Hereford) on a windowsill in the Ladies' loos.

There are only a few books on either shelf, and it's unclear whether someone is managing them or whether they have just appeared. Both the loos and the waiting room seem to be open from around 6am.
