The Westminster Abbey is oneof the most famous temple in Lodon. It was build in IX century. There are graves of lots of famous people Karol Dickens, Isaac Newton or Karol Darwin and more than 600 memory tables of people wchich are not buried in Westminster Abbey. The are also coronation ceremonies of british kings or queens. It's situated in district called Westminster, near to british parliament. The official name is: The Collegiate Church of St Peter. The temple was reconstruct in 1220 by Henry III and it didn't change apperance untill nowadays, exept two west towers towers wchich was made in 1745. The Westminster Abbey is mainly in neogotic style. The temple was made by unknown architect and the construction system iscut stone bearing masonry. The most interesting places in Westminster Abbey are:
- College Gardens
- Abbey Museum
- Poet's corner
- Chapter House
- grave of Margaret Beaufort
- grave of unknow soldier
- coronation throne (there were coronation of all exept two british monarchs)
- grave of Elizabeth I
- Norman undercroft
