Thank you all for your hard work on Saturday - I was very pleased, as was the audience. we raised £410 for the charities
- excellent. Some of the recordings of the concert are on the website - in a rather rough form.

well done again

Geoff

The day of the concert has arrived - I hope I haven't forgotten anything - see you there !!
Geoff

Have a look at the programme page Milborne Port Concert Programme

I've finally got round to putting some midi files in the main website - available from the
rehearsal and rehearsal files tabs or here http://www.yenston.plus.com/camerata/Midifiles/MidiFiles.zip

Shame about the Northleach concert - I thought you were all as keen as I was to sing away from
the area. I'll stick to concerts in this immediate vicinity from now on. See you on Monday
Geoff

For the MPO I've started a blog - this will trace the Lost Continent Production
http://mpopera.blogspot.com

Overheard in Milborne Port (admittedly at a church function):
"...and I see the Camerata are putting on a Victorian concert - I must make sure I get tickets early for that!"
Yes, really!

Linda

Isn't that great ?
Hope you're having a good holiday

Geoff

Next Rehearsal 4 September 8:10pm Church House

  • I will post all the midi/pdf/noteworthy files I have for the concert music in the
next couple of days.
  • Hope you are all well - glad the temperature is a little lower now.
  • Have fun - Geoff

  • Thank you very much Anne-Marie for all your help last term !!

Link to lazybee http://www.lazybeescripts.co.uk
I'm unable to find a way to get at the contents !!

  • Links to Under MilkWood audio files

(these are referenced in the web page sources -
(use View Page Source or View Source in your browser) near the bottom of pages containing
poems or acts of Under Milkwood. They are all in a sound directory so links look like this :-
so put http://www.undermilkwood.net on the front of the /sound/nameofpoem.mp3 link)

Thanks Geoff, I am very impressed with the efficiency, Ellie

That is the wonder of Wiki !!!
Geoff

  • Anne-Marie and Hugh can't play tonight - good practice for the unaccompanied pieces !!
  • See you
Geoff
