Solo is a fictional Vulcan character in late 24rd century Starfleet.
Solo was born on 25 March 2306 aboard a small exploratory vessel. The vessel was destroyed shortly afterwards due to a violent ion storm. He was among the very few survivors. Both of his parents were killed.
He was adopted by a distant relative - a Master in the P'Jem sanctuary. There he learned from the early childhood. There he was taught the ways of Kohlinar.
After twelve years of training in mastering of emotions he was sent to Vulcan.
There he enlisted the Science Academy and pursued the scientific knowledge.
Completing the courses on Astrophysics, Warp Theory, Cosmology, String Theory, Elementary particle physics, and many others made him a well suited candidate for the
assistant position in the … experiment.
The tragic interruption of the experiment almost cost him life. The exact events and a couple of following years of his life are the classified secret. Enough to say that the tragedy was no accident.
Afterwards he was given new identity and came back to P'Jem Sanctuary to continue his path in understanding logic and control of emotions.
After 15 years he decided to refresh his knowledge of science and continue the research work. Eventually joined the Warp Field group conducting Warp experiments aboard newly commissioned Nova-class vessel - USS Helix. This gave him a rare opportunity to be a part of the survey team of the Gamma Quadrant.
When he came back from the mission he decided to join the Starfleet.
Being promoted to the rank of Ensign upon graduation he was assigned again to the USS Helix as the Science Officer.
After two years of fascinating work he decided to accept the transfer proposition to one of the most advanced starships in the fleet - the Sovereign-class USS Cox.
After a short tour of duty aboard USS Cox, Solo accepted an invitation to join USS Breedlove. Howeer, before transferring, Solo got involved in some Vulcan unfinished business and as a result, soon dissapeared while on a covert mission. The following search by USS Breedlove has ended after he was saved from a Romulan attack. From that point, he is the Breedlove's Chief Science Officer.
Not so long after the Breedlove's involvement with Rear Admiral Pu Sung Ling, Lieutenant JG Solo has been promoted to full Lieutenant and appointed ship's Second Officer.
Solo is a typical Vulcan with the logical perception of the surrounding universe. Currently he is the Executive Officer and Chief Science Officer of USS Cox (NCC-78612-A) under Captain James S. Wilk.
When off duty he meditates in both passive and active way. The active meditation includes training of several martial arts originating from Vulcan and from Earth.
