Arcadius Calidus is a fictional Federation officer from late 24th century.

Originally a quartermaster aboard USS Pulaski (NCC-4822), Arcadius followed his friend James S. Wilk to USS Cox (NCC-78612-A), and later on to USS Breedlove (NCC-78484). In September 2379, he completed additional required courses and was offered a Marine Officer warrant, as Warrant Officer, Medical specialty.

In 2380, he was kicked out of the Marine Detachment and transferred over to Starfleet Medical aboard USS Breedlove and SB-900, where he successfully performed as a physician's mate; in Mar 2381, he was promoted to Ensign.

Arcadius is a great friend to have and an amateur singer. However, his attitude towards his duties have made medical operations aboard USS Cox (NCC-78612-A) a constant stream of trouble. In fact, Arcadius' reluctancy to do his job is the reason why the USS Cox permanently used the Emergency Medical Hologramme for prolonged periods of time.
