3/2010: Had an excellent experience with QS. Although my paper was rejected, I received three extremely helpful reviews (and one not-so-helpful one). I received the decision within three months. Communication from the managing editor was prompt and professional. I will not hesitate to submit there again.

10/09 So far an excellent experience. Got an R & R in about 3 months, with useful reviews. Would love to get a better sense of the journal's reputation.

I had a great experience with QS. The turn around time was ~5 months from submission to acceptance and the reviews were clear and very well thought out. All communication with the journal has been very helpful and email responses were received quickly.

11/13/08 I too had a wonderful experience with QS. Our reviewers provided excellent and thoughtful reviews for our paper. I don't remember the turnaround time but it was not long. Also, the managing editor is also great, responsive, and kind.

6/1/09 I agree that the process with QS is extremely smooth, in part due to the lower number of submissions that they receive. I received an R&R with a turnaround time of two months. After sending in the revisions, it took another two months for the acceptance. The feedback from the main editor and all of my reviewers was incredibly helpful. My only complaint is that I received a total of FIVE reviewers, which is almost unheard of. The revisions, therefore, took forever. They sent the paper back to three of the same reviewers. In all, I learned a great deal from working with this journal. They are very professional and courteous, and all papers are sent out for review so you are sure to get some kind of helpful feedback.
