Received a very gentle R&R on a co-authored paper 2 months after submission. 2 reviews were included, another review showed up in my mailbox 3 weeks later that the editor had given up on. Had the paper back out in a month and a half, was conditionally accepted about 2 and a half months later. The editor was very prompt (but curt) in both written and email correspondence. The reviews were so-so in terms of helpfulness. Would recommend submitting here if you're looking for a good specialty journal with a pretty quick turnaround time.

I follow-ed up with the editor when I received no confirmation that my manuscript had been received two months after I submitted it. Rejection was accompanied by one extremely brief and completely useless review.
