London Eye
The London Eye, also known as the Millennium Wheel is the biggest observation wheel (it is 135 meteres hight) in the world. It has 32 capsules and carries around 10,000 visitors every day. Designed by architects David Marks, Julia Barfield, Malcolm Cook, Mark Sparrowhawk, Steven Chilton, Frank Anatole and Nic Bailey.
It was constructed in 1999. It was opened by British Prime Minister Tony Blair on December 31, 1999, although it was not opened to the public until March 2000 because of technical problems.
