Camden Lock
is one of many landmarks in this area of London to have a corresponding structure in the novel The Horn of Mortal Danger . Established in 1975 this was the market which started the phenomenon that now draws more than 150,000 a week to the Camden Town markets. It is now probably best known for
it's arts and crafts and is visited by
millions of tourists every year. This market is open all week
Many of the shops and cafes are open throughout the week from about 11am - 6pm daily.

There are various different areas of Camden Lock Market.
West Yard features the canal boat pier, the lockside lounge and many shops and stalls.
Middle Yard house Jongleurs and Dingwalls.
Market Hall has several floors of indoor markets and shops.
East Yard overlooks the canal and has many shops and stalls.
