I like the idea of wizard, strange hat, potions, magic stick and (unpredictable) power of spell-casting as seen on
(Wizard/Purple/SICP) book and A comic book by Conrad Barski, but sorry, I am not an artist. - daniel
That comic book is good! Regarding fantasy logos: myself, I'm leaning sci-fi. But fantasy and sci-fi are often mixed; for instance, Star Wars. Or the fantasy can defy easy classification, like The Yellow Submarine. What kind of world could be built for Lisp / Scheme? - BVE
so this a magic book of aliens ;) - BS
What about "To Serve Lisp" ? It would be a joke on the old Twilight Zone episode, "To Serve Man." Ok, it's obscure, and I'm not that old, I saw it in re-runs. But it would make an ideal Lisp cookbook, like other languages have. - BVE

Looks like a Zelda or Mario game. Also the font should be much larger in proportion to the logo. Remember logos could be very very small, so if you want people read them, the text needs to be large and clear. - BVE

I like this one, because "Lisp" is half-hidden, so you may have a second look ;) -BS
Why is hiding Lisp an advantage? For a logo, the goal is clarity. - BVE
