Physical Description

Jonah is the depiction of casual ease and good will. Although you can't see his eyes through his small round sunglasses a smile is never far from his lips. He is of Asian descent with short cropped dark hair and normally wares neutral colours that highlight his natural skin tone. A mandarin style jacket is worn over a white T-shirt with pale combats to finish. He is never seen without his battered leather satchel, which constantly looks stuffed. A small gold chain he wears around his neck is the only indication of his allegiance to the Scravers guild.

Brief History

Born on Icon to an influential Scraver family, Jonah enjoyed a privileged childhood almost equal to that of minor nobles. He enjoyed studying anything that was put before him from applied mathematics to martial arts. Seeing his sons natural intellect, Jonah's father sent him to an Eskatonic run university where Jonah continued his studies into his adult life. It was also during this time he discovered his faith. He grew to believe the end was coming and also come to believe that any answers would lie in the past, either from the great scholars of the republics or from the time of the Prophet himself. Naturally he became a professional archaeologist, recovering artefacts for the Scravers at the same time as expanding his knowledge. When a contract came up to work for the Eskatonics he jumped at the chance and has since been working for them as a consultant archaeologist and curator of artefacts. His distance from the Scravers and his closeness with the Eskatonics has caused both sides to questions his loyalties, but so far he has walked the line between guild and church. By the very nature of his interest he also began to collect a wide knowledge of the occult, not all of it church sanctioned, and various other know ledges normally held secret. A few years back he moved to Vargo claiming to have received a vision that called him there and has worked quietly in the background since to dig into the mysterious histories of Vargo.
