Antichephalone triggers piled high on the desk. Black chewed on her finger squinting
at them. TUM hit the stop key to shut up the intriconophonics slipping from the
tape deck. "You shouldn't take more than you can receive." said Black and snatched
a trigger, looking at it for only a second before ramming [it] into a pocket.
"You shouldn't live longer than your life."

No longer presented with the concept of being strung up by his ankles, the sleeper
is playing with one of several different gadgets that involve a rapidly rotating
part. The first is that of a four bladed rotor the diameter of an open palm, usually
mounted on a non-descript egg-sized motor. The rotor blades give the device the functions
of a self-propelled hovering 'thing' and a messy flesh-tearing weapon. An iterative
mental process reduced the number of rotor blades to two, and then to a single blade
(making the device unstable and asymmetrical.) Although unstable, the concept of a

SOMEBODY SOMEWHERE IS BEING TORTURED. KNEES BEND, ARMS STRETCH, Ra ra Ra.

Anyway; the rotor-motor. It now appears to be supporting the weight of a man who can
grip onto rungs along the base of the egg-shaped motor. It is most likely a portable
emergency transport (hanging from it isn't particularly comfortable.)
