(From the DAWDVKT Glossary)
Born on the low-law colony of Jhenge, Rachael grew up to be very talented. Talents that could lead her into only two careers: Triad gang member, or undercover agent.
She chose the RCIA to avoid future complications. You can always leave the agency, but if you join the Triads you are a member for life.
She already knew the important skills: believing her lies, concealing her gun and her fears, knowing when to act and when to think.
The agency completed her training and she went out into the field...
But enough of her history.
Rachael, as part of her job, is excellent at acting and bluffing, and practices a lot, to the extent that her friends have trouble knowing her real personality.
But as herself she is quiet, with searching eyes and a constant content expression.
She feels no sense of duty towards the Regency; she does her job because it's all she knows.
If given a chance she may defect to any other organization who can use her skills, but she is in now way a mercenary.
If given a task to do, she will complete it to the best of her ability.

Rachael was her first name.
Ilyia-Ikonvich was her Jhengian title, written [squiggly marks], which means 'searching deceiter'.
Hiyatona was her family name although she was not proud to be from that line.
She had a friend with fickle bone structure. It was part of his job. But she always recognised him.
One day when she had nothing to do, they went walking in the sun without their filter masks. She happened to spy over a wall. She saw a garden, which contained a childs swimming pool.
The water was opaque. Black and sticky like all the rotting four humors. The still surface was broken by a bald head, a baby's head. A sigh escaped from it's mouth before it was filled.
The vision was snapped away as she turned the corner.
Rachael is a cross between Deunan Knute from Appleseed and Tony Leung's character from Hard Boiled.
