Marselle and Dimitri

Actually these character came about largely through silly verbal situations. Based on the two bats who told jokes in Count Duckula, oddly enough.
The bats would appear and tell jokes in each episode but these characters were something else entirely.
I'm not entirely sure what they were all about but it was good fun anyway.

Marselle

Some soldier type person from Eastern Europe or possibly French. Appearance unknown and history unknown. The more sensible one of the Marselle and Dmitri pairing.

Marselle first appeared when me and Duncan were talking in silly accents one day. I do believe they are based to some extent on 'Victor & Hugo' cartoon characters.
I think Dmitri's name was inspired by Count Duckula (one of the bats.) I think Duncan came up with the name Marselle by calling me that nbame as we spoke in the accents.
I think Marselle and Dmitri are involved with the army somehow. They have been known to drive around in a tank (in a built up area.)
Marselle is a bit of a bossy boots. He always thinks he's in charge. He is Dmitri's superior in rank.
Has a great brotherly love for Dmitri though wouldn't admit it. Forever puts Dmitri down and is extremely jealous about Dmitri and Veronica.
Lives with Dmitri.
Appearance: Tall, slim, dark hair (short), clean shaven.

Dmitri

He was based on various silly-speaking characters from the Goons and from Lt. Gruber from 'Allo 'Allo (and his 'little tank'.)

Veronica Conway.

Invented by Janine so she could join in on the fun. Had a thing for Dmitri.
