I don't think Jan was ever 'almost a nymphomaniac' now I think about it, but she was established as an exhibitionist in the very first Raid story.
I think if we ever write some more Jan stories, the sexual element of her character should be very toned down. Blame my teenage hormones or something. -Derek

Jan Doyle

• Story: Vigilante
  • Occupation: Vigilante lackey

Almost psychotic, almost a nymphomaniac, Jan just wants to do what she wants, caring little for other people.
She tents to get in a lot of fights and shoots lots of people she doesn't like.
She rarely gets hurt due to Vigilante combat training, which was the only training she really paid any attention to.
Never satisfied, always grumpy, has great intelligence but rarely uses it.
All this may be due to growing up in Yorkshire, I don't know.
Before joining Vigilante, she had spent time in prison for manslaughter (she got off lightly, it was in fact cold murder) and is hardened from her criminal life.
Favours using SMGs used on full auto.

Her cooking is so bad her pies can be used for landmines and her home-made jam for tear-gas grenades.
Utterly loves her husband, Fred and sort of likes Englebert.
But generally hates everyone else on principle.
Has an adrenaline regulator implant; to stop her going berserk.
