Jaal

• Story: Ours.
• Occupation: Secretary.

His character isn't fully developed yet but what I know is that he's fed up with his life as it is.
He doesn't demand much from life; but what he wants he isn't getting.
He dislikes the stupid people in the area he lives. They tend to hold him responsible for the actions of the electricity company he is a secretary for. Wants a change.

Owns a violin. Can't play it. Can play a piano. Hasn't got one. Knows a girl. Doesn't like her.
Wants to buy a telescope. Everything's grey. Everything's concrete. Know's more than you or I. No-one knows him.
Owns a car. Doesn't use it. Walks to work. He wonders why. Knows his boss. Doesn't like her. Wants to buy a ticket out.
Everything's inoffensive. Everything's plastic. Knows more than you or I. No-one knows him.

Whilst I was living in Leeds, Derek and I thought we would have a crack at writing a proper story.
The plan was to mail a floppy disc back and forth, continuing the story each time on a text file.
It lasted for about three paragraphs.
