Onboard a spacecraft. The power source is a black liquid sphere about fourty foot in diameter.
Our heroine, for some reason, has climbed up to it and gingerly touched it's surface.
It is disrupted and explodes at the speed of light. I see it expand; I move with it at
the same speed so to me the crew of the ship appear frozen in time, unable to halt the
process. Without the sphere's proportions changing, it slices through walls, people,
everything, and finally the hull. Everything is anihilated in the most complete way.
The explosion continues at the speed of light. In seven minutes it has reached some of the
outer planets. Neptune and Saturn are eradicated, followed minutes later by Uranus and Jupiter.
The energy of the plosion saps and the sphere returns to negative space.
The ship's clone, out near Pluto, is severely shaken by the radiation blast and as they
          approach the Sun, they are battered by debris. ======================
          A feeling of complete lonelyness and isolation and fear overcome the crew
          due to the sudden absense of heavenly bodies. Nothing but specks of rock
          and void. There is some relief in finding that the Earth is still there;
          they won't be stranded. Unfortunately the radiation has damaged the ships controls
          and they can't stop thrusting; they overshoot and zip past the Earth and the Sun
          and use up the last of the fuel accelerating out into the emptyness.
