Catherine Wheeler's apartment.

A sharp and efficient place much like its owner. The window looking out
high onto the city.. a penthouse but still not THE penthouse of the
city. It's luxury but there's still a long way to climb yet.

It's a spare place with minimal decoration other than the occasional
fairly expensive at work. Catherine favours lighter metal sculptures
with strong geometric shaping.

Everything within the place is of course computer controlled and linked.
The refridgerator has built up a knowlege of the foods Catherine likes
to keep in the place, not that she ever has much or that it can store
much. It re-orders her regular groceries each week and adds a special
different item each time. The cooker detects whatever dish has been put
in and cooks appropriately.

It's a completely open plan place and quite spacious. For sleeping, a
futon is in the corner. A double, just in case she needs to fetch back
someone she's using at the time. The bed is not a soft one.

The window is one complete side of the apartment. It functions both as a
computer screen and television. It can vary its opacity to change light
levels. It is almost completely sound proof as is every wall, ceiling
and floor in the apartment. A noise canceling system is used to ensure
this.

Though there is little place for music in Catherine's life, an elaborate
surround speaker system is installed capable of making sound appear to
come from any part of the room.

Most surfaces are either a chrome finish or black marble. The floor is
tiled in black and white marble squares around 1 foot square each.
