Bored To Death is an early (not particularly well programmed) Dark Basic project. (May 2003 I think)
The original idea was to have a boulderdash-type affair, but with movement in half-blocks and different sized boulders that could be broken down with a drill.
The result is something less puzzle-oriented than boulderdash. More like a mining arcade game.
It has a map editor for those of you who want to try playing around with it.
I ought to update this game to have smooth animation and nicer effects, now I'm getting better at programming.
(BoredToDeath.zip, 1.5Mb)
Requirements: Dark Basic requires you to have a Windows-based PC with DirectX 8.1 or better, and some semblance of a graphics card.
