Vigilante!

"Run, Fred, Run!!" Shouted Jan as the Dinhog approached "Get your gun and kill it!"

Fred dashed accross the floor water splashing up from where his feet landed. "Got to get my gun." He thought as the Dinhog closed in on the cornered Jan.

Fred grabbed his gun quickly but as he did the Dinhog lunged at Jan. There was a blood curdling scream and the Dinhog fell to the floor with a steel bar through it. "It's okay fred, you can open your eyes now."

"Jan? Thank god I didn't get you. You want my gun? I know you don't like it without one."

"Thanks" Jan replied taking the gun.

They continued to wade through the blood covering the floor towards the tunnel ahead.

this one was entirely by me and it's from The Book With No Name 19. I was probably hoping for further additions from Duncan. It seems a bit factually innacurate about the Dinhog though. How could it be killed with just a metal bar? Did Jan just somehow get lucky?
