At game start Corradina's mama and foster Father are middle-aged,although her mama is a good fifty years younger than her papa. They're probably ~160 and ~210. All these details are subject to change as we work out background.

Mama ~ Isabelle Dante ~
Isabelle is played by Isabelle Adjani.

Corradina's mama is a strong woman. Some might disagree, and use the word
stubborn. Some might disagree entirely and say a woman who can not keep her
husband at home is weak. Her husband, though, would call her strong and
would forgive her for the weaknesses she does have.
`
Isabelle Dante met PrinceCorwin four years into her marriage, and doubtless
used him as much as he used her. He served as salve on a wounded pride and
a very sweet revenge. She walked away from the relationship able to return
to her marriage feeling more the equal of her husband - if not the better,
for she'd managed a prince when the best he could seduce were servants.
`
As a mama, Isabelle never felt it was her job to teach her children how to be
good people, or how to best serve the realm or the house. She felt her only
responsibility was to love her children. While she allowed her husband to
bring his baby boys into her household, she never attempted to embrace them
as her own. If her distance seemed cruel to them, their existance seemed
cruel to her. She felt all honor demanded was that they be offered the
chance at a better life, and indeed, they were given that opportunity. She
deals with them much better as adults than she did when they were children.
`
Corradina loves her mother, and much like her, feels like it is not her job
to judge or teach mama, but only to love her.

Papa ~ Leone Dante
Leone is played by Rufus Sewell.

Leone became the head of his household at a young age when his parents and
older brother died in an accident overseas. His sister married out of the
house fairly quickly thereafter, and moved to [a yet to be determined GC
Kingdom.] Having a modest inheritance and only himself to support, Leone did
well. He has a good head for business, and his passionate manner can be very
engaging. Leone was able to make connections at fencing clubs and eventually
found a very pretty and well-breed woman to court.
`
While Leone has been able to concentrate his angers in his fencing, he always
had far less control over his desires, as evidenced by the number of sons he
managed to conceive outside of his marriage. Always begging forgiveness when
the consequences came home in a small howling bundle, he has never been very
successful at controling himself when it comes to pretty young women. Sometime
over the years, though, he appears to have figured out how to not get them
pregnant.
`
Leone loves his wife and his children unabashedly. The rest of society, he
roasts at family dinners with scorching cynicism and sarcasm. When Corradina's
heritage was revealed, he merely shrugged, and told her she'd always be his
Dina. For that alone Corradina will go to ridiculous lengths to pull strings
for him, and will always consider him as 'papa'.

Oldest Brother ~ Aldo Dante
Aldo is played by Eric Bana.

In the language of the shadow the Dantes came to Amber from, many generations
ago now, Aldo means rich. Aldo tries to fulfill his name - he tries very hard.
He's papa's heir and the apple of mama's eye. A very serious man, he 'deals'
with the rest of the family, including his parents. He's five years older than
Corradina, but perhaps a lifetime more mature.
`
Aldo refuses to marry until he finds the right woman. Pressed on this
definition, he might admit he's looking for someone who makes him feel he'll
never need anyone else again. Aldo is the disapproving black sheep of the
family, although they all look to him to hold them together. He is the one
everyone takes their problems to.
`
He loves them all, but finds them exasperating more often than not.

2nd Brother ~ Kajetan Dante
Kajetan is represented by "Italian Boy" by Wilson.

Kajetan died when Corradina was seven after he fell from a horse and suffered
an infection from a broken leg. He was eleven.

3rd Brother ~ Sebastiano Dante
Sebastiano is played by Jason Fedele.

His name means revered, but Dina would say it means spoiled. Mama's baby, and
happy to be, Bastian seems content to sit at home and do as little as possible,
even well into his adulthood. Never having shown any interest in getting
married, he makes Papa and Aldo both insane with his lack of motivation. Papa
always threatens to kick him out, but never does. Dina followed his stubborn
lead for most of her childhood years, until her parents discovered she could
be motivated by things. He's three years older than Corradina.

Papa's sons from outside the marriage:

Fidelio Dante
Fidelio is played by Alessandro Gassman.

Fidelio's mother seemed to be making a statement by naming him this. He's
three years older than Corradina - born within weeks of Sebastiano. Fidelio
has made himself very useful to his father - in contrast to Bastian - and may
very well be Papa's favorite. He certainly takes after papa more than any of
the other boys.

Davide Dante
Davide is played by Raoul Bova.

Born the same year as Corradina, they were practically raised together, although
in different sides of the household. Dina is closest to him out of all her
brothers, although she has been horribly mean to him at times - something she
came to regret when her own illigetimacy came out. Davide is Aldo's right hand
man.

Matteo Dante
Matteo is played by Antonio Sabato, Jr.

Born when Corradina was a teenager and old enough to really understand what was
going on, this little brother caused a serious falling out between Dina and her
papa, moreso because she saw the expense of another child on the household (and
the payoff to the mother) cramping the budget for her dresses and jewelry and
style, now that she was getting old enough to attend social functions.
`
Papa's compromise was to pay a modest stipend, compared to what he'd done for
his other sons, to Matteo's mother, and he didn't bring Matteo into the
household until after Corradina had entered Deirdre's service. Matteo does
not seem to have suffered much for not being part of the household, and is now
off in the GC making his own way.
