The first true Prince of Houston, Hans Schluter claimed praxis after the unfortunate demize of Prince Vanderdecken in the great hurricane of 1900.
During his century-long reign, Schluter became more withdrawn, and was not seen in court (leaving it to be run by his seneschal) for 3 years when political turmoil broke out. He did not step forward to defend his praxis when his senechal and the assistant Harpy Francis Fitzgerald both made a claim to the praxis of Galveston/Houston.
He has recently been heard from again, mostly by his loyal supporters. The word is that he seems somewhat mad.
