Luth is a decadent playboy, and especially a connossieur of mind-altering drugs. He claims to be too lazy to attend most gatherings of Kindred unless they present some particular amusement, but he tends to create his own amusement-and plenty for others-when he does attend.

Luth has a bit of a lisp, and is called "Eurotrash" by his detractors, but his admirers find his continental impertinence to be just another part of his charm.

A few know him to be quite knowledgeable in Eurpean occultism.

Nathaniel Q. Bisbee once said of Luth, "Well, now I see why the Masons were witch-hunted in Europe. I mean to say, I had a wonderful time, but if you party like that every night, you'll never get any work done."
