13.9.2005-09-21 We had german couple M.G. and E.B. as guests. They saw Elif's painting at "Epsilon". She's a painter, he is architect. We talked a lot (about shadows, about extensions, about "I am another", about Middle East and politics). Though they saw Istanbul they came to Bodrum for the first time. She too showed some of her works

1. overlays of anatomic pattern and arabesques, fine art.
2. human flesh or skin colours (from white to pink to yellow to brown to black)
3. aircraft silhouettes in these flesh colours
4. silhouettes of "Counter Strike" and "Half Life" computer games in flesh colours too

Later Tülin came with an amazing Rose covered handbag. We ate together in Sanayi sitesi pide salonu

From time to time Gamze pops in, like today. We sit and talk; Okan, Serpils husband is to be seen too (he's coming over from architects house in front.

Every week the "Hesitating Academy", our artist-group is gathering. we are it's students and professors.
Serpil bought a big book about modern art, it is written in English, that's why I am reading every day from, and Dilek translates and Serpil takes notes. Today it was about Cindy Sherman, Marcel Duchamp and Vito Acconci, structuralism and post structuralism. Tomorrow it's Louise Bourgeois' turn.

Neslihan came early in the morning with her horses to put varnish on them. She's on the way to her lover. Her husband thinks her with her sisters in Izmir. What shall she do? Her husband is the best friend she has, wonderful and polite, but she don't feels anything when he fucks her. Today she wears kind of cowboy-jeans with toddles. Elif says, maybe they'll go to Izmir together and Neslihan will be her clothes-consultant.
