I live in Opole, which is a city in the south of Poland.
It has a population 120,000 people and it's the biggest city in Opole region.
It's un ugly city and here you can't buy modern and trendy clothes-you must go to Wroclaw Or Krakow.
In 2012 in Poland Football World Championships will be held and Polish government have money for the
development of country now, so maybe Opole will look better. The weather here is very different.
The winter can be freezy and cold but sometimes is warm and sunny. The summer is the same like winter-different.
Opole is famous for Polish Song Festival. People come to Opole from all the country and usually from Germany
and neighbouring countries. We have very attractive places, for example; Bolko Island, Amphitheatre, Odra Stadium
(where football matches are organized)Skating Rink Toropol, and many kinds of good discos. But I think the best
thing in Opole are people. People(usually)are friendly and nice.
