I live in Jełowa. It is a village 20 km from Opole. It has a population of 2000 people.
In the centre of the village there is the church.
In Jełowa there are:
-many shops
-many big firms for example Bamarpol and Stegu
-two bars: Tekla and Luxo
-the school
-the kindergarden
-the library
-the cosmetics parlous
-the train station
-the bank
-the chemist's
-the petrol station
-the cementary
-the fire brigade station
-2 playground's
-solarium
-old historic mill
and you can ride a horse.
Alot of things happen in Jełowa for example:
-walking round with a bear
-New Year's and Easter's concerts
-International Women's day
-International Men's day
-Internetional Children's day
-"odpust"
-retreat for children
and many other evert.
My Parish of Saint Bartłomiej has got a:
-priest's assistants
-St. Mary's children group
-chorus
-children chorus
-a theatre group
-charity.
Jełowa lies on the way from Opole to Kluczbork, so in my village two bus companies operate: pks Opole and pks Kluczbork.
The most important is that Jełowa lies near Stare Budkowice because in Stare Budkowice there is AZTEKA:)))))))
From my house it is only 9 km.
Jełowa in 2007 got a prize"Piękna wieś opolska".
I like living there but I think in the future I will leave it.
