- on the Latin Am. page, states that AHA interviews scheduled 11/29

Rutgers University (Early Modern Europe/Atlantic World)
-acknowledgment email 11/27 - said it would be 'several weeks' before the got back to people
- AHA interview and dissertation requested simultaneously via email 12/10
- Congratulations on the interview! (12/12
- AHA interview scheduled, 13 candidates total (12/13)
- campus interviews scheduled

San Diego State University (Southern Atlantic World)
-Phone interview scheduled for week after Thanksgiving. (11/19)

UC Santa Cruz - (Early America/Atlantic World)
-Invited to campus for job talk (11/5); apparently they're moving early!
-Any news on the job talks? Did they already happen? (11/27)
- Position filled (12/4)
-Offer received and accepted (12/12-Above post must have referred to department making its decision?)
- CONGRATULATIONS! (i realize I'm a month behind the times with these sentiments...but hopefully you'll still see this at some point!)

University of Alabama (Atlantic World)
-The committee will be contacting candidates from the initial pool of applicants
in the next three days to request fuller writing samples, but they will continue to
review applications up until early December. (11/19)

- QU: has anyone ever received an ack of application? (I have not)
- I received an ack from them on 11/26. My application was emailed to them around 11/20

Whitman College (one -year, Africa or Europe, "with a preference for candidates who can teach courses that cover the Atlantic World within a comparative framework.")
